Submissions are now being invited for the Terry O'Neill Award. After a very successful inaugural year, we are delighted to announce the details of this years award.

Submissions of between 3 and 6 images is asked for, falling into criteria of reportage, documentary, landscape, portraiture, creative, fashion wildlife or fine art photography. The judges will be seeking dynamic and arresting images which portray a compelling narrative.

The 'South Tyrol Young Photographers Award' is a competition that is being rolled out all over Europe. Judged by a prestigious panel of experts from the photography field, including representatives from Getty Images and the National Geographic Magazine, the award in now in its second year and offers a great opportunity for UK students to get their work showcased in a European arena.

The Urban Encounters programme is a collaboration between Photofusion and Goldsmiths that includes a two day conference on 16 and 17 May 2008, a series of talks, curated walks around London and workshops taught by a range of experienced photographers, visual artists and curators interested in the interplay between urban theory and the production of photographic projects responding to aspects of city-life.
